The journal “Studia Linguistica” (XL/2021, 168 pp.) contains nine scientific peer-reviewed articles on various topics related to broadly understood linguistic research, as well as two review articles. The authors of the published texts are researchers from various scientific centres in Poland (Wrocław, Łódź, Poznań, Sosnowiec, Szczecin, Łomża). The articles are devoted to such topics as phonology, grammar, semantics, lexis and lexicography as well as pragmalinguistics of a given language. Others present the results of comparative studies or concern text analysis. The languages of publication are English, German, Russian, Ukrainian and Polish. All articles contain a summary in English. The journal closes with two review articles of Polish scientific publications issued in 2020.
