Vol. 30 (2019): Law in Relation to the Individual and Society

Published: 09-04-2020

We are handing over to you the 30th volume of Student Journal of Law, Administration and Economics, entitled Law towards an individual and society. The changes in the lives of individuals and entire societies, which are occurring faster than ever before, cannot remain without an impact on the applicable legal norms. Moreover, increasingly frequent changes in the law or in the practice of its application are also not without significance for the lives of individual people and communities. The correlation that occurs is a phenomenon that is difficult to grasp in its essence, but extremely inspiring and fascinating for researchers.

The publications included in the present study look at the discussed issues from many perspectives, which gives the Reader a broader perspective on the law, the individual and society, and in particular on the relations between these concepts. This relationship is particularly important in the field of criminal law, where the law, on the one hand, protects goods and values considered to be socially important, and on the other hand, significantly interferes in the situation of a human being.

The law, which should reflect the changes taking place in society, as well as the lives of individuals and whole environments, which have to face ever new normative regulations, will probably always remain in the circle of interest of researchers. Therefore, by presenting you with the next issue of Student Journal of Law, Administration and Economics we hope that the texts it contains will allow you to look at the discussed subject matter from different perspectives and become an inspiration for further research.
