Published: 08-09-2020

We are delighted to present to you the 33rd volume of the Student Journal of Law, Administration and Economics entitled Legal and Economic Factors and Determinants and the Decisions of Individuals, Enterprises and Society. The publications included in this study combine issues in the field of decision-making by individuals, enterprises and society with their legal and economic conditions. An economic analysis of the environment of the entities mentioned, as well as an understanding of the impact of regulations on their functioning is the key to conscious and correct decision-making. The themes of the volume are very complex. You will find the authors’ reflections on economic issues, for example the Asian crisis of 1997, which provides a valuable source of experience for emerging economies and a basis for further economic decisions. The texts also deal with the relationship between ethnic diversity and innovation in Polish regions or the issue of the Fair Trade certificate as a tool for promoting products. A significant part of the considerations is taken up by articles on legal issues, which include, among others, issues concerning the statute of limitations for tax losses, tax risks, civil remedies for the protection of the reputation of the Republic of Poland, amendments to the law on assemblies, the competitiveness of the prospectus law or executions from movable property. You will also find issues related to labour law, such as an article discussing the impact of the processes of division, merger and transformation of companies on employee relations. There is also a text that may be of interest to readers dealing with social security law, which discusses the attitudes of young Poles towards social security, including the issue of responsibility for securing income in old age.
